July, 2010 - Max and Severine got married in a cottage in the Quebec side near Wakefield. We got there early to setup our tents cause we were going to party hard that night after a hard day of working and needed a place to sleep. Started the day shooting them getting ready along with the family. Heidi and I had an awesome time and it was the most relaxed wedding I've ever been to, which is fitting as we were at a cottage. The next morning we just sat there starring into the lake and had to forced ourselves physically to leave cause the view was just so nice! Thanks Max and Sev for letting me shoot your wedding. Hope you have fun in Scotland!

Mikey and Nat's Wedding
June 2010 - Mikey and Nat had a very beautiful wedding at the Falcon Ridge Golf Club located south of Ottawa. The day started off with the guys playing a round of golf, which kinda tired me out cause I am out of shape and an awful golfer. Though I pretend I am decent. Then it was off the Nat's place to do some getting ready photos with Nat and her maid of honor, Chantal (sister). Then I rushed to the hotel to get a few shots of Mikey and the boys getting ready before we had to quickly get to the venue for a 4pm ceremony. The ceremony was outside and was followed with a delicious reception in the dinning lounge. Thanks Mikey and Nat for choosing me as their wedding photographer! Also thanks to Heidi Green who was the second shooter for this wedding. She is an amazing girl with tons of untapped photography talent. Some of the photos below were taken by her. Love you Heidster!
Alec and Amy's wedding
June, 2010 - This was my first wedding back from a 2 year hiatus from photography. Spent all this time doing a four year degree course and then getting this cushy government job, but now realized that this desk job is not for me! However, I'm there till I can afford to leave, and this is my outlet and hopefully my ticket out. Thankfully, my friend Jason introduced me to Alec and Amy to be their photographer and got me back into photographing again and the rest is history. The girls got ready at TEXTURE salon in downtown Ottawa, and the guys got ready at Alec's place. The first part of the wedding was held at the experimental farm where they had a first "first look" wedding. This was my first "first look" wedding and I must say it's a great idea. I think everyone should consider that in their wedding. Then the actually ceremony was held outside at the Britannia Yacht Club with a beautiful dock, boats and water as the background. Thank you Alec and Amy for giving me the opportunity to shoot their wedding and bringing me back to photography in the process.
